Canal and Agriculture
Our Canal and Agriculture field trip is available to 4th grade and reveals the important connection between CVWD and our community. Students are introduced to our Coachella canal and the important role it plays in our unique agricultural economy. Students will also meet with local farmers to learn how they use canal water to grow a variety of crops and end their trip at the canal terminal: Lake Cahuilla.
