Students will explore Coachella Valley’s place in the world and the important role farmers play in our community. Local water resources and the importance of water conservation are also discussed.

This presentation will challenge students to review their knowledge of the different forms water can take, the different places on Earth water can be found in, and the most important body of water in the Coachella Valley: our aquifer. Includes a hands-on aquifer activity.
