Golf Course Turf Conversion Rebate

$2 per square foot (requires pre-approval)

Eligible project areas must meet the following criteria:

Applicant must be a Golf Course within CVWD's service area.
Eligible to Non-Domestic water customers (well, recycled, and canal water)
Areas of turf must be irrigated by the golf course water source.
All projects must be pre-approved before work begins. Customers must receive written pre-approval from CVWD before starting project conversion. Retroactive rebates will not be approved.
A green or golden-brown lawn with full thatch attached.
Projects must be a minimum of 500 square feet up to a maximum of 100,000 square feet, and golf courses can submit multiple projects.
Applicants must commit to providing an equal match of $2 per square foot, guaranteeing the total project cost will be at least $4 per square foot.
Eligible projects are funded on a first-come, first-served basis. Funds are not guaranteed to be available.

Please confirm that your application includes all of the following. It will be processed once it is complete.

Initial each section of the Conditions on page 2 and 3 of the Application, complete and sign the application.
Provide a Project landscape plan/sketch that meets listed requirements.
If you are not the account holder, you must provide a letter designating or authorizing who may submit for the customer.
Complete, sign, and return the Internal Revenue Service W-9 Form. The W-9 can be submitted to CVWD in person, by postal mail, by fax to (760) 837-5848, or by email.
