Water budgets are a proven tool used by water districts to encourage responsible and efficient water use. Water budgets help customers understand what is reasonable water usage for their home, business and outdoor area.
CVWD calculates water budgets individually for all residential and large landscape customers based on daily weather, size of landscaped area, number of days in a cycle, and if applicable, indoor water needs. Business and commercial customer water budgets are calculated based on sewer charges.
Your water budget is listed in the Bill Detail section of your monthly bill. Water budgets vary month to month and from customer to customer.
