Motorists are being asked to avoid traveling on Hovley Lane East between Corporate Way and Eclectic Street in Palm Desert.
Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) crews are on scene repairing a water leak. The eastbound lane is closed with a detour around this area onto Corporate Way.
CVWD thanks drivers for their caution and patience if they need to travel in that area.
Repairs are estimated to be completed by 2 p.m. today.
