We want to reassure you that your tap water is both safe to drink and reliable. There is no reason to believe that COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, will have any impact on the local water supply.

CVWD offices are closed to the public following state recommendations but we are still working to support our customers by phone, email, or online.

Out of an abundance of caution for our community, CVWD employees, customers and visitors, CVWD has canceled all public outreach events and tours until further notice. Sign up for email notifications for information on future events and tours. 

How to participate in Board Meetings from home

In an effort to protect public health and prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, the public may view board meetings online as there will be no public location for attending in person until the order is lifted. The meetings will be live streamed online and can be accessed the Board Agendas page.

Members of the public who wish to comment on any item within the jurisdiction of the District or on any item on the agenda, may submit comments by emailing the clerk of the board, Sylvia Bermudez at on or before 4 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020 for the April 14 board meeting. Comments will become part of the board meeting record.
