Starting tonight, there will be late night lane closures on westbound Highway 111 between Washington Street and the Cliffhouse Restaurant in La Quinta, as part of a Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) emergency sewer rehabilitation project.
Work at this location is expected to take place from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m., starting tonight and continuing through the end of the week. Traffic lanes will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The construction work is being done in the late and early morning hours to reduce inconvenience to drivers and nearby businesses. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when driving past construction zone and avoid the area if possible.
The Coachella Valley Water District is a public agency governed by a five-member board of directors.
