Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) will be performing sewer work in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 18 in two valley locations.
Crews will close two westbound lanes of Fred Waring Drive at Tennessee Avenue in Palm Desert and one southbound lane of Bob Hope Drive at Gerald Ford Drive in Rancho Mirage from 2 a.m. to about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The work involves vacuuming of gravity lines and is planned for the early morning hours to limit the impact on drivers and lane restrictions and closures will be marked at each location. CVWD thanks drivers for their patience and caution near the work zones.
