Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) has launched a new blog as part of its ongoing outreach to customers.
The new blog, called “Your Water is Our Promise: The CVWD blog” will provide informational posts about all of the district’s service areas. It also will spotlight the workforce of CVWD, profiling the teams of people who are dedicated to protecting the reliability of water services in the Coachella Valley, and highlight special events such as tours.
The blog can be accessed at www.cvwd.org/blog
“We are committed to providing as much information to our communities as possible,” said Katie Evans, director of Communications & Conservation for CVWD. “In the past few years, we have expanded our outreach into new ways of communicating such as through our upgraded website and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
“What’s unique about the blog is that it has a conversational, narrative approach and interaction is encouraged. We hope it will become another way for our customers to learn about us and about the importance of all our water services.”
The Coachella Valley Water District is a public agency governed by a five-member board of directors.
