A CVWD outreach campaign was among six top finalists for an award that celebrates exceptional communications and outreach programs developed and run by California water agencies.
The honor from the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) paid tribute to the District’s ongoing “Your Water is Our Promise” campaign.
That campaign seeks to humanize CVWD as part of the community, educate customers about our services and increase social media followers. It includes surveys, focus groups and an advertising campaign that includes outdoor, radio, television and social media ads that feature employees.
Since the start of the campaign in February 2020, research shows that Your Water is Our Promise strategies have moved public opinion favorably toward the District.
